Snow Storm

High winds and several inches of snow Tuesday and into Wednesday left all of Pella buried. According to reports Wednesday morning, all roads in and around Pella are completely snow covered and many county roads are impassible. Local and state agencies are discouraging travel at this time. In addition, the Pella snow ordinance went into effect on Tuesday evening and will remain until further notice. Vehicles are not allowed to park along sides of streets from the time the snow ordinance is started until it is lifted - except for areas in the Central Business District from 6 a.m. until midnight.
