Kent and Sarah De Jong of Marshalltown are the proud parents of a son born May 14th at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Joel Thomas was born at 9:45 am, weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 20 inches long. Joel joins big sister Brooke and big brother Carson, age 5 years old and big sister Emma, age 2 years old. Grandparents are La Mar and Marlene De Jong of Pella and Tom and Gloria Holland of Buffalo Center, IA. Great grandmother is Rose Holland of Blue Earth, MN.
De Koning
Deanne and Michael De Koning are the proud parents of a baby boy. James Henry De Koning arrived on May 27, 2010, weighing in at 8 lbs 7 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. He was welcomed home by his big brothers Joshua and Matthew. Grandparents of the new baby include Gary and Phyllis Cottington of Pella and Margeret Ann De Koning and the late Carroll De Koning of Leighton.
