Maternal great-grandparents are Henry J. and Gertrude Vande Voort of Pella and Jerry and Shirley Bruxvoort of Oskaloosa. Paternal great-grandparents are Alvin and Freda Goemaat of Pella and the late Ben and Matilda Vos.

Jason and Kelly Rauch of Oskaloosa are the parents of a baby girl, Klara Belle. Born at Pella Regional on April 20, 2011, Klara weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. Grandparents are Craig and Karen Hudson, Jim and Kim Koellner, Darin and Sue Rauch. Great-grandparents are Kenneth and Esther Van Gent, Donald and Donna Hudson, Zelda and Lavonne Rauch, Carolyn Welch, Larry and Linda Welch. Great-great-grandmother is Loretta Hyde.
