Pella — Kurtis & Lisa DeBruin are excited to announce the birth of their daughter, Kate Joelle, born on Oct. 6, 2010 at the Pella Regional Health Center.  She weighed 7 lb and was 19 1/2” long.  Kate was welcomed home by her brother, Jaren - 7, and sisters, Bethany - 5 and Erica - 3. Grandparents are Wayne & Marilyn Van Mersbergen of Pella and Keith & Gloria DeBruin of Oskaloosa.  Her great-grandfather is Herman VanMersbergen of Pella.
