Grandparents are Jeff and Karen Nibbelink of Rock Valley, IA and Galen and Julie Vande Vegte of Inwood, IA. Great-grandparent is Norma Nibbelink of Pella.

Andy and Carol De Vries of Monroe are the proud parents of twin daughters, Brooklynn Nicole and Katherine May born Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Brooke weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 17 ¾ inches in length. Katie weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces and was 18 ½ inches in length. Grandparents are Jim and Dorothy De Vries of Prairie City and Delmar and Lavon Brouwer of Monroe. Great-grandmothers are Velma Brouwer of Newton and Carolyn Chapman of Pella.
