David and Jessica Hoekstra are the parents of a baby girl, Zylie Jo. Born at Pella Regional Health Center on March 23, 2011, Zylie weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Her Pella family includes Grandparents: Greg and Verla Hoekstra, Myron and Laura Van Zee; and Great-grandparents: Tony and Wilma Hoekstra, Pauline Kooistra, Geneva Van Zee, and Sheryl Rozenboom. Zylie Jo had two siblings to welcome her home: 5 year old A.J. and 3 year old Teagan.

Sydney Grootveld and Kyle Thorson of Pella are the parents of a little girl, Lillynn Quinn, born at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics on March 28, 2011. Lillynn weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. She has two big brothers, Zachariah and Vincent Thorson. Grandparents are Larry and Karen Grootveld and David and Jean Thorson.
