Kurt and Jamie Beyer of Ames are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Evan Glen, born December 15, 2010. Evan weighed 10 pounds 5 ounces and was 21 inches long. Paternal grandparents are Glen and Mary Lynne Beyer of Otley. Maternal grandparent is Phil Lebo of Grundy Center. Paternal great-grandparents are Evelyn Beyer of Pella, and Marion and Marjorie Van Haaften of Otley.

Robert Noah and Kristine SuAnn Zylstra of Urbandale are the proud parents of a baby boy, Robert Ryan Zylstra, born at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines on January 19, 2011. Grandparents are Robert Rienk and Charlene Zylstra of Pella, IA and Ronald and SuAnn Ako of Brookings, SD. Great-grandparents are Harriet Zylstra and the late Robert E. Zylstra of Pella, IA.
