Fire destroys building on Pella's west side
The Pella Fire Department responded to a fire this morning at approximately 4 a.m. at Thomas Tucking located at 1420 Fifield Road. A sheet metal building on the property was completely destroyed by the fire. Most of the fire was contained by 5 a.m., but at 10 a.m. Pella Fire, Ambulance and Police responded back to the scene of the fire, as heavy smoke began to be seen coming from the building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
