Andringa recognized with NAF award

Pella — Vermeer CEO Mary Andringa was recognized at the Netherland-America Foundation (NAF) Gala Awards Dinner.  Andringa received the Ambassador C. Howard Wilkins, Jr. Award for Outstanding Professional Accomplishments in Corporate Leadership.  Each year, the NAF Gala Awards Dinner celebrates Dutch-American heritage and friendship by honoring individuals who have made distinguished contributions to further business, political and cultural relations between the Netherlands and the United States.  The awards are named for recent American Ambassadors to the Netherlands.  This year's event took place at the Washington Golf and Country Club in Arlington, Virginia.

In an illustration of Dutch and U.S. friendship, the Dutch Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Renée Jones-Bos gave the welcoming remarks at the dinner, with Kurt Dykstra, mayor of Holland, Michigan, serving as Master of Ceremonies.
