The Central College Red and Blue Jazz Combos will perform their annual Combos Christmas concert Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the Cox-Snow Music Center Recital Hall at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Due to the popularity of this event, tickets are sold out for the 8 p.m. performance. However, tickets are still available for the 6 p.m. show and cost $5 or are free with a Central ID. Call the information booth at 641-628-9000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to reserve your ticket.
Popular Christmas music will be performed by students in both Combos groups, under the direction of Gabriel Espinosa, associate professor of music.
Band members include Tyler Coleman of Milford, Iowa, on guitar; Sonny Cutler of Garwin, Iowa, on piano; Peter Fegley of Cedar Falls, Iowa, on drums; Rachel Staman of Amana, on piano.
