Southeast Iowa dodges worst of storm

OTTUMWA — Southeast Iowa woke up to slippery streets and snow covered sidewalks, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

The brunt of the snowstorm hit farther west. Totals in this area were generally in the 4-5 inch range. That was on the lower end of predictions for the storm.

Sioux City got the worst of the storm for Iowa, with totals nearing 10 inches.
