Pella — 1/2-cup Hersey's milk chocolate chips
1/2-cup Hersey's special dark chocolate chips
or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 T. shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread or oil)
1 cup unsalted, roasted peanuts or raisins
1. Place chocolate chips and shortening in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium power (50%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred.
2. Stir in peanuts.
3. Drop by teaspoons into 1" diameter candy or petit four papers. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
Makes about 2 dozen candies.
