Pella — 8 cups water
2 cups sugar
juice of 4 oranges
juice of 1 lemon
strip of orange zest
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
2. Peel pears, leaving stems intact.
3. Simmer in liquid for 20 minutes or until tender. Cool.
4. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
