Personal injury collision in Pella on Monday afternoon

Pella — On Jan. 7, at approximately 3:36 p.m., the Pella Police Department received a 911 call reference a collision involving a student and a school bus, in the Pella Community High School parking lot, 212 East University Street. Officers and the Pella Community Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed a juvenile female had fallen and was struck by a school bus. The female was transported to the Pella Regional Health Center with non-life threatening injuries.

This collision remains under investigation.
