Pella Community Schools seeks input on Lincoln School

Pella — The Pella Community Schools would like input from Chamber members on the location of a replacement Lincoln School facility.  See the comments and input opportunity below from Greg Ebeling, Superintendent of Pella Community Schools:

Dear Parents and Community Members,

Pella Community Schools have been studying and planning for district wide facility improvements the last 12 months.  As part of that process, each building in the district has been reviewed with a committee of people including parents, school staff and other community members.

One of the projects that has been recommended is a new elementary school to replace Lincoln.  This recommendation came after the study committee found nearly 10 million dollars worth of improvements necessary to make the school on an even par with Madison Elementary.

One of the biggest questions that remain is about the location of the new Lincoln Elementary building.

We are asking for you to complete the following survey to give us feedback on the placement of the proposed new building.

Please click on the link below to access the survey:

The Pella School Board will be reviewing this information at the January 28th meeting.  Please complete the survey before then.

Thanks for you help.

Sincerely,

Greg Ebeling

Superintendent
