Festival of Trees: It’s a Wonderful Life

Annual favorite returns again this year

Pella — Starting today, Nov. 16, the annual Festival of Trees at the Pella Opera House will begin. An opening night celebration will be held until 8 p.m. that evening. This year's theme is "It's a Wonderful Life". The event features numerous decorated trees, as well as a large number of holiday-themed items. A silent auction will be used for fundraiser for the Pella Opera House children's theatre programming - which will end Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. A Family Night with Santa is set for Monday evening, Nov. 19, from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m.

The Festival of Trees display is open to the public Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Thursday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Pella Opera House will be closed on Sundays and Thanksgiving Day.

Ticket price is a free-will donation.
