Witnesses reported that two armed subjects entered the bank and robbed a teller of an undetermined amount of cash. The suspects walked away from the scene in a northwest direction.
Persons in the area of the robbery, or who observed suspicious persons in the Pella area prior to or immediately following the robbery are asked to call the Pella Police Department at 641-628-4921.
Pella — On February 21, 2013, at 10:07 a.m. the Pella Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery at Midwest One Bank, 500 Oskaloosa Street, Pella. Witnesses reported that two armed subjects entered the bank and robbed a teller of an undetermined amount of cash. The suspects walked away from the scene in a northwest direction.
According to the Pella Police Dept., both suspects are now in custody. No further information has been released.
The case remains under investigation.
