Tulip Time Royalty Party set for March 23

The Pella Historical Society will once again sponsor the Tulip Time Royalty Party on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Joan Farver Auditorium in the Pella Community Center.

The festive evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a performance by the Pella Duchesses.

Queen Heidi Schulte and her attendants Morgan Anderson, Courtney Kelderman, Bekah Posthuma and Sara Van Gorp will entertain with their program entitled, ‘The 75 Year Old Story of Tulip Time”. The Queen and her Royal Court will be wearing Friesland costumes which were sewn for them by our royal seamstresses, Jacki Craver and Phyllis Zylstra.

The public is invited. There is no admission charge and no reservations are needed. Punch and cookies will be served at the reception following the program.

SLIDESHOW: PCHS Class of 2012 A total of 90 students were part of the Class of 2012 at Pella Christian this year. PCHS held their 72nd annual commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 19, at the Pella Christian High School.The invocation was given by Pastor Jeff Sajdak. Stephen Dykstra served as the Senior Class Representative and Pastor Brian Ochsner gave the address. Closing remarks were made by Todd Zylstra.
