Fire breaks out west of Pella
A fire was reported around 11:30 a.m., Wednesday morning, at 560 180th Avenue (west of Pella). The Pella Fire Dept., Pella Ambulance, Pella Cooperative Electric, Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Marion County Emergency Management all responded to the scene. The smoke coming from the outbuilding on the property was very dark before firefighters were able to control the fire. The fire remains under investigation.
