Knoxville — Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) today announced that his Outreach Director, Amy Beller, will hold a veterans roundtable in Knoxville on Thursday, February 7, 2013. The roundtable is designed for veterans, families with loved ones deployed and others to come and ask questions about current legislation, veterans’ benefits and other relevant issues.
The discussion is scheduled to take place in the Marion County Courthouse conference room from 10-11 a.m.

A retirement party was held last Thursday evening for Patsy Sadler honoring her for her 36 years of service as the Pella Historical Society Village Director. In honor of Patsy and Dean's contributions to the society, the Historical Society Board renamed her former workplace as the 'Sadler Cottage'. Approximately 180 well-wishers attended the open house.
