Pella Police Report

During the week of February 24, 2013 to March 3, 2013, the Pella Police Department received 121 calls for service, issued 15 citations, 34 warnings and 32 parking tickets. There were 6 arrests made, resulting in 6 charges.

During the week of February 24, 2013 to March 3, 2013, the communications center fielded 321 telephone calls, assisted 49 people at the window and fielded 29 incoming calls on the 911 system.

ARRESTS

On 02/27/13 Nolan D. Chiles, 21, of Pella was charged with possession of marijuana. Chiles was pre-trial released with a court date.

On 02/27/13 Jonathan B. Glassman, 22, of Pella was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Glassman was cited and released with a court date.

On 02/28/13 Brian D. Stice, 49, of Pella was picked up on a Marion County arrest warrant. At the time of his arrest, Stice was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. Stice was incarcerated at the Pella Police Department for the night.

On 03/01/13 Timothy J. Gates, 44, of Pella was charged with driving while suspended. Gates was cited and released with a court date.

On 03/02/13 Ryan D. VanSoelen, 23, of Pella was charged with operating while intoxicated. VanSoelen was incarcerated for the night.

On 03/02/13 Bradley J. VanHulzen, 50, of Pella was charged with driving while revoked. He was cited and transported directly to court.
