Union Street Players presents 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'

Pella — Union Street Players will present the beloved musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Pella for this Christmas season. Tickets are now on sale to the public. You can choose your seats and purchase them online at www.unionstreetplayers.com. Ticket prices are:

-Adults $12 in advance, $15 at the door

-Students $8 in advance, $10 at the door

-Balcony seats $10 (both in advance and at the door)

Tom Palmer, a junior at Pella High School and son of Jim and Jennifer Palmer, will play the lead role of Joseph. The Narrator role is shared by Kayla Kaufmann and Jana De Zwarte. In supporting roles are Union Street Player veteran Tom Vander Well as Elvis; Doug De Wolf as Potiphar and Lynn Cooper as Mrs. Potiphar.

This is the first time that Union Street Players has presented this show, and it is filled with energy from start to finish with outstanding vocal performances and extensive choreography.

The show is directed by Pat Moriarity with assistance from Wendy Vander Well, Brystal Hopkins, Ashly Kocher and Ashlee Whittington. Performance dates are Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 6, 7 at 7 pm and two matinee performances at 2 pm on Dec. 2 and Dec. 8.

Preliminary indications are that tickets are going to go fast.

Director Pat Moriarity said, "We encourage everyone to purchase tickets early in order to get the seats you want on the dates you want to see the show!"
