The Pella Historical Society will once again sponsor the Tulip Time Royalty Party on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Joan Farver Auditorium in the Pella Community Center.
The festive evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a performance by the Pella Dutchesses.
Queen Marlee Bokhoven and her attendants Elizabeth DeWolf, Kate Roozeboom, Erica Schulte and Heather Van Wyk will entertain with their program entitled, “Tulip Time’s Top Ten”.
The Queen and her Royal Court will be wearing the Friesland mid-1800’s costumes which were sewn for them by our royal seamstresses, Jackie Craver and Phyllis Zylstra.
The public is invited. There is no admission charge and no reservations are needed. Punch and cookies will be served at the reception following the program.

Sadler honored with remaing of cottage
A retirement party was held last Thursday evening for Patsy Sadler honoring her for her 36 years of service as the Pella Historical Society Village Director. In honor of Patsy and Dean's contributions to the society, the Historical Society Board renamed her former workplace as the 'Sadler Cottage'. Approximately 180 well-wishers attended the open house.
