Pella —
A total of 41 residents and team members of Hearthstone, a Ministry of WesleyLife, participated in Iowa’s Second Annual Healthiest State Initiative Walk on Wednesday, Oct. 3. They were among more than 297,000 Iowans who joined in the walk, which will go down in history as one of the biggest events ever to take place in the state.
“Joining in this walk instead of attending a regular exercise class empowered residents to enjoy the outdoors and enhance their health and well-being,” says Natasha Jansen, Wellness Director for Hearthstone. “Numerous residents commented on what a beautiful day it was to take a walk and enjoy Pella’s fall colors.”
Hearthstone and WesleyLife believe in the power of wellness. They emphasize building good health for the mind, body and spirit –– on your own terms, through your own choices. They also embrace the possibility that everyone can achieve their goals, no matter what their situation might be. Those who experience real wellness also experience the power of a happier, healthier life.
