Pella's Christian Opportunity Center selected as one of Iowa’s Top Workplaces

Pella —

Christian Opportunity Center is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of Iowa’s Top Workplaces.

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with more than 30 major publishing partners and recognizes a National list of Top Workplaces.  Over the past year, more than 4,500 organizations and 1 in every 100 employees in the U.S. have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand what’s on the minds of their employees.

Christian Opportunity Center (COC) supports people with disabilities and provides both residential and vocational services to people who benefit from those supports.  COC is unique in its field as it also offers spiritual services, as part of its mission of integrating Christian values in teaching skills for life. The staff at COC work hard in teaching living skills along with job skill training so people with disabilities can live  productive and fulfilling lives.

COC was chosen as #21out of 100 in the medium sized company category.  Rod Braun, Executive Director for COC, said, “We are honored to have been chosen for the award, particularly as the judges were our employees.”
