Pella —
The Pella Community High School Orchestra, Percussion Ensembles, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band will present a Holiday Concert on Tuesday, December 11, in the PHS Auditorium at 7:30 pm. The ensembles will perform music of the season including “Carols of Olde”, “Linus and Lucy” “All Through The Night”, “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, “A Fireside Christmas”, a unique arrangement of “Silent Night”, “Home Alone Christmas”, “Carol of the Bells”, “Christmas Legends” and “Sleigh Ride”. The public is encouraged to attend this performance of holiday favorites and support our high school music students. Admission is FREE. A GOODWILL offering will be accepted at the door with proceeds benefiting the Pella High School Band and Orchestra programs.

Sadler honored with remaing of cottage
A retirement party was held last Thursday evening for Patsy Sadler honoring her for her 36 years of service as the Pella Historical Society Village Director. In honor of Patsy and Dean's contributions to the society, the Historical Society Board renamed her former workplace as the 'Sadler Cottage'. Approximately 180 well-wishers attended the open house.
