Betty Cline

Pella — Betty Charline Cline was born on April 22, 1934, to Howard Franklin and Leona (Shedenhelm) Morehouse in Ottumwa, Iowa.  She passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House at the age of seventy-eight. Betty received her education from the Ottumwa High School.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years, William Cline of  Pella; her daughters and their husbands; Debra and Philip Pendroy of Monroe, Iowa, Cindy and Carl Carman of Monroe, Iowa, Patti and Kenny Fagg of Otley, Iowa; grandchildren: Melissa (Jeremy) Masterson, Carl Carman III, William Carman, Matthew Carman and Jeremy Carman; four great-grandchildren: Casidee Carman, Carl Carman IV, Dylan Masterson, and Isabelle Masterson; one brother, Jerry Morehouse of Blue Grass, Iowa; one sister, Judy Skinner of Ottumwa, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Billy Morehouse; and her sister, Shirley McKim.

A memorial service was held Saturday, January 12, 2012, at the Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella.
