Pella — Marvin E. Meppelink, 72, of Pella, IA passed away Monday at the Pella Regional Health Center. "Mep" is survived by his wife, Ilene D. (Lanser Vande Voort) and her four children and their spouses: Ken Vande Voort, Marla and Bruce Terlouw of Pella, Vivian and Doug Vriezelaar of Otley, IA, Kevin and Rachael Vande Voort of Center Point, IA; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchlidren; and a brother, Alven Meppelink of Oskaloosa.
Visitation will begin after noon on Wednesday, October 17,2012 at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home where the family will be present Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Christian Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa.
Military rites by the American Legion Post No. 89 of Pella.
Inurnment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella, Iowa.
For those desiring, memorials may be designated for the University of Iowa Surgical Oncology Dept. or the Faith Christian Reformed Church.
