Pella — Robert L. Jansen, 75, of Pella, IA, formerly of Sully, IA, passed away Tuesday morning at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella. Robert is survived by his wife, Alenna (Nieuwsma) Jansen and their five children: Rod and Leanne Jansen of Grinnell, IA, Rick and Staci Jansen of Sully, Rhonda and Steve Pleima of Lakeland, FL, Roger and Caroll Jansen of Oskaloosa, IA and Rhinda and Rusty Kramer of Pella; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella where the family will be present from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sully Christian Reformed Church, Sully, IA.
Interment will follow in the Sully Cemetery at Sully, Iowa.
The family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be designated for the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella,IA or the P.E.T. project in Leighton, IA.
