Cory Shaun Jones, age 32, passed away on December 8, 2012 at his home. His wish was to be cremated and a celebration of life will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, Iowa.
Shaun was born to Rex and Joy (Mason) Jones on June 20, 1980 in Iowa City, Iowa. He grew up in Knoxville and earned his GED and a degree in welding from DMACC. On July 15, 2000 he was united in marriage with Mariah Quigley in Pershing, Iowa. Shaun enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them, especially his three children.
Shaun is survived by his wife, Mariah; sons, Kenneth and Brenden; daughter, Helaina; parents, Rex and Joy; sister, Shannon (Steve) Zubrod; grandmother, Anita Jones; nieces, Brenda Jo, Cora, and Justine Quigley, Emma Zubrod, and Brittney Minard; nephews, Tryston and Quinton Quigley, and Andy Zubrod ; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Jones and grandparents, Vern and Joyce Mason.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Shaun.
