Pella — Catherine (Verschuure) Vander Wiel, 92, of Pella, IA, passed away Saturday evening in the Long Term Care Unit at the Pella Regional Health Center. Catherine, wife of the late Frank Vander Wiel, was a kindergarten teacher at Pella Christian Grade School for 25 years, and is survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many dear nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 4, 2012 from Noon until 6:00 p.m. at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Covenant Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa.
Interment will be made in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella, Iowa.
For those desiring, memorials may be designated for the Endowment Fund at Pella Christian Grade School or the Long Term Care Unit at the Pella Regional Health Center.
