Pella — Henrietta (Nielsen) De Jong, 87, of Newton, IA, formerly of Sully, IA, passed away Thursday noon at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella. Henrietta, wife of the late Willard De Jong and mother of the late Bryce De Jong, is survived by her son, Barry De Jong of Newton and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday, March 17, 2013 beginning after 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church where the family was present from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Funeral Services were Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Sully, Iowa.
Interment followed in the St. Andrew's Lutheran Cemetery at Sully, Iowa.
The family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be designated for St. Andrew's Lutheran Church or the Sully Fire and Ambulance at Sully, Iowa.
