Pella — Darlene (Van Arkel) Van Zante, 84, of Pella, IA, passed away early Monday morning at her residence near Pella. Darlene, wife of the late Edward G. Van Zante, is survived by her two children, Larry and his wife Arlene Van Zante of Pella and Diane Van Zante of Pella/Pleasant Hill, Iowa, along with 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home where the family will be present Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa.
Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
The family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be designated for Darlene Van Zante Memorial Fund.
