Pella — Ellen (Elscott) Van Zante, 94, formerly of Pella, Iowa, passed away early Friday morning at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. Ellen, wife of the late Francis M. Van Zante, is survived by three children and their spouses: Norman and Mary (Woody) Van Zante of Pella, Carlene and Bernard VanDerPol of Sully, IA, Louise and Brian Wilson of Prairie City, IA; 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday at the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella where the family was present from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
A funeral service was held Monday, August 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Otley Reformed Church in Otley, Iowa.
Interment was made in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella, Iowa.
For those desiring, memorials may be designated for the Otley Reformed Church.
