Pella — Esther M. (De Jong) Vande Lune, 89, of Pella, IA, passed away Thursday morning at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House. Esther, wife of the late Leonard R. Vande Lune, is survived by three daughters and their husbands: Sandy K. and Fred Van Den Broek, Cindy L. and Gary Moffet of Otley, IA, Lori A. and Tom Thompson of Detroit Lakes, MN; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Charlotte De Jong and brother, Gilbert De Jong.
Visitation will begin Sunday morning at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella with the family present from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa.
Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
The family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be designated for the Hospice of Pella Comfort House or the First Christian Reformed Church in Pella, Iowa.
