Pella —
A Call To Serve (ACTS) Ministries of Iowa hosted a 24 hour prayer event on Saturday, March 31, until Sunday, April 1, at the Third Reformed Church Lighthouse. The event was a success with over twenty-five participants, and numerous other people committed to praying for ACTS that day that were not able to attend the event.
The event focused on praying for the ministry of ACTS, those it serves, and those who support it with time and resources. Some of the prayer topics and activities during the event included:
-praying for the local communities and families that ACTS serves,
-planting seeds for ACTS’ Seeds 4 Needs Garden which is starting this spring,
-praying for support and vision for ACTS,
-praying for the upcoming Spring Service Surge in Knoxville on May 12 (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SpringSurge12),
-praying for unity of purpose in communities to better bless people in need,
-praying for blessings for other local organizations and ministries.
ACTS is a non-profit organization in Pella that connects people who need assistance with willing volunteers. ACTS is dedicated to showing God’s love through projects in the community and through the relationships built through its ministry. ACTS sponsors short-term projects in Pella and surrounding communities by matching volunteers with the “right” projects.
