Students earn money for local schools during Marion County Bank’s halftime shootout

Pella — Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at the Pella vs. Pella Christian basketball game on Friday, January 13 provided excitement for fans – and the local schools.

Eight students participated in the basketball shootout to earn money for the local schools.  Students representing Pella Community High School included Catheryn Yoder, Ann Van Roekel, Lucas Rietveld and Brett Renaud.  Students representing Pella Christian High School included Maddie Fopma, Jenna Roose, Nate Tvedt, Will Vande Voort and the Pella Christian eagle mascot.

Steve Kraayenbrink, President of Marion County Bank, and Pat Moriarity, Investment Center Manager, presented a $3,450 check to the students of Pella Christian High and Pella Community High School.
