Pella —
The Pella High Speech and Drama Department presents the second “What Do You Say To That?” Improv Show on Thursday, April 19; Friday, April 20; and Saturday, April 21 in the Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. All seats are three dollars at the door.
"The games-based improv show was a hit last year, so we decided to do it again, " said Drama Director Suzi Jones. Suggestions for scenes and characters are taken from the audience, and audience members might recognize some games from the television program Whose Line Is It, Anyway?
Different teams compete each night against a "home team", although the show is much more about laughs than competition. Students on the "home team" include host Mitch Shepherd plus Marielle Gaiser, Micah Zeimetz, Aaron Van Maanan and Jack Parisee. Thursday night's competitors are Jake Wassenaar, Elias Gross, Sydney Swanson, Colin Jones, and Matthew Sutija. The Friday night team consists of Greg Frommelt, Nathan Clayberg, Bre Klein, Kody Beller and Tom Palmer. The Saturday night team stars Taylor Terpstra, Bailey Tripp, Sam Palmer, Evan Jones and Megan Sims. Student Director is John Rhys Sutija and DJ is Joe Roorda.
