Pella —
Angie Anthony, Kara VanderWerff, Becky Marlow, Teresa VanZee and Brenda Nugteren, all teachers in Pella schools, attended the Iowa Reading Association's Leadership Training held June 25 in Ames. The theme for the workshop was "Tune Into Reading".
They represented Three Rivers Council and will be their officers for the 2012-2013 school year. In Ames, they participated in sessions that will assist them in fulfilling their council roles. The Iowa Reading Association is an interactive group of individuals interested in reading, who promote literacy through leadership, educational programming and legislative endeavors. They invite anyone in the community who is interested in literacy education to join them in this professional organization.

Pella Christian High School concluded its Theatre Season with “Thieves’ Carnival. on March 22-23, at the Vermeer Auditorium at Pella Christian High School.
