In a recent meet in the pool, the NCMP swim team beat Boone and Algona decisively by winning all but two events.
Members of the NCMP squad from Pella High had some solid efforts along the way.
Sara Martin won the 200 IM in 2:29.27, she also was second in the 100 butterfly at 1:06.68.
Martin also helped the NCMP 200 medley relay team win in 2:00.42 and the 200 free relay squad take gold in 1:49.04.
Samantha Hedrick, also of Pella, was on the winning 200 medley relay team.
Hedrick also won the 50 freestyle event in 26.05 and the 500 freestyle race in 6:00.66. Hedrick also anchored the NCMP winning 400 free relay with a time of 3:53.38.
Jeannie Etnyre and Kira Hanson swam on the 400 free relay varsity team that was third with a time of 1:58.05
JV Action
In JV action Kira Hanson won the 200 freestyle race in 2:20.24 with Etnyre second at 2:24.54.
Hanson was second in the 100 butterfly in 1:20.39 while Etnyre was runner-up in the 100 freestyle at 1:06.66.
In the 400 free relay Etnyre and Hanson helped the team win with a clocking of 4:25.68.
