Megan Lyn Pfadenhauer and Nickolas Nolan Butz were united in marriage on June 9, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horne, Iowa. Megan is the daughter of Dan and Whitney Pfadenhauer of Pella. Nick is the son of Pat and Tina Butz of Newhall, Iowa.
Grandparents are Cyndy Groff (& the late Richard Groff) of Osage, Iowa; Roger and Joann Pfadenhauer, Pella; Bob & Wini Nolan, Van Horne, Iowa; and Bob & Arlene Johnson, Newhall, Iowa.
Megan is a graduate of Pella Community High School and Central College with a B.A. degree in Communication Studies. Megan will return to school in August at the University of Northern Iowa to work toward her M.A. degree. Nick is a graduate of Benton Community High School in Van Horne, Iowa and Central College with a B.A. degree in Management Information Systems. Nick is employed as a Systems Administrator at PIPAC in Cedar Falls.
A cocktail hour and reception were held at The Hotel at Kirkwood, Cedar Rapids, following the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico at the Excellence Resort and will be residing in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
