Gary and Janet Gerst of Columbus Junction are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Gerst, to Ty Van Wyk, son of Marvin and Vickie Van Wyk of Pella.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Wapello High School and received her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science-Health Promotion from Central College in 2010. Ashley is currently employed as an Independent Promotional Sales Consultant for Bankers Advertising Co. in Iowa City.
The groom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Pella Christian High School and is currently employed as an electrician for De Vries Electric in Pella.
Ashley and Ty will be married June 23, 2012 at The Old Barn in Muscatine. They are very excited to share this special day with family and friends.
