Jena Hansen and Daniel Dykstra announce their engagement. Jena is the daughter of Ed and Connie Hansen of Greenfield, Iowa, and Daniel is the son of Jerreleen Kroes of Leighton, Iowa, and the late Kenneth Dykstra.
Jena graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelors degree in Merchandising and obtained a Masters degree in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina. She is employed at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Daniel graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with a degree in Graphic Communications. He is employed at Purcell Printing.
A wedding is planned for October at Des Moines Embassy Club in West Des Moines.
