Pella — Michael and Sharon Phelps of Holland, Michigan would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Karissa to David Klyn, the son of Sherwin and Paula Klyn of Pella. Karissa is a graduate of Holland Christian High and Dordt College. She is a physical education teacher at the Kirk of the Hills Christian Day School. David is a graduate of Pella Christian High and Northwestern College. He is a teacher and coach at Central Christian School. An outdoor wedding is planned at the Windmill Island Gardens in Holland, Michigan on July 16, 2010. David and Karissa will make their home in St. Louis, MO.
